Whole roasted cauliflower has become a thing in the past few years and we are here for it!  Our method of roasting a whole head of cauliflower is so simple, it's foolproof, and the results impress me every time. This is one of those recipes that everyone should have in their back pocket. You can zhuzh it up by adding different spices to your seasoning or just keep it simple and pair it with literally anything.

Food Farmacy

  • 1 whole organic cauliflower
  • 1/3 cup melted ghee or extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 Tbl. kosher salt


1. Preheat oven to 375 °F

2. Prep cauliflower by cutting off stem and removing leaves and tough core; being very careful to keep the head in one piece

3. Rub ghee or olive oil all over cauliflower, making sure to cover top and bottom

4. Season all over with salt and place in cast iron skillet cut side down

5. Tightly cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes

6. Remove foil and bake uncovered for 1 hour

Get creative! Don’t be afraid to add spices to your seasoning. It would taste delicious with paprika, chili powder, cumin, etc. The options are endless!
